I know that the point of this blog is to chronicle the process by which I hopefully fall in love with Boston, but I think Portsmouth might be much more my speed. I loved it! We only had a quick morning to explore, but we had time to check out some good local stores, explore a park (complete with some excellent examples of high school graffiti) and take in the working port, and get some good coffee and food. A lovely Saturday morning.

Portsmouth, NH
It's not that I've explored the city so much that I need to venture to points beyond, but we got the itch to visit a different state. So this morning, after a hazy and humid run around Jamaica Pond, we rallied and hopped an hour and fifteen minutes north to Portsmouth, NH.
